Sheet Music

“Sunny was written for the jazz group Loose Tubes in 1985 and performed frequently. The rubato trumpet solo was originally intended for clarinet but as a trumpeter in the band I fancied having fun with it myself. There is also a reference to a moment in West Side Story which was on my turntable at the time.” - John Eacott. John Eacott John Eacott is a jazz trumpeter, composer and academic. After Loose Tubes he composed many scores for TV, Film and Theatre including 'Gormenghast' and the 2012 RSC 'Taming of the Shrew' while lecturing in music and sound art.
