Description

Part of a collection of eight contrasting pieces entitled "Movers & Shakers" and continues the Superbrass series of 3 part flexi resources for Junior Bands.

This resource builds on the foundations established and musically showcased in the starter resource – “5 & In !”

The material is written such that each part is active within the range of an octave (often less), the pieces are almost always diatonic and rhythmic characteristics are enhanced by the inclusion of a small variety of articulations.

For this series we have given the conductor & ensemble members the chance to be a bit more creative with the structure of the pieces.

Each piece is derived from little more than a duet (Parts 1 & 2) with Part 3 sometime duplicating a melodic role and at other times providing an independent bass line underpinning the harmonic structure.

You may choose to play each piece twice; once as a duet (Parts 1 & 2) followed by a full 3 part version.

“The end result, is a resounding success. This is not a commercial CD, this is education, passion and self belief written in the sleeve notes”
