Description

Grooves & Co is a progressive collection of 12 pieces that aims to introduce brass (plus drum kit and percussion players) to the fun and benefit of ensemble playing.

Each piece is groove-based and takes its stylistic inspiration from numerous World Music styles.

With this in mind at Superbrass HQ, we have opted for a 3 part flexi approach, allowing for a balancing of the ensemble – from 3 players to 30+ players.

Salsa & Co - A Latin-American dance craze formulated by musicians from Cuba and Puerto Rico who lived in New York.

Take a listen to the music of Ruben Blades or Celia Cruz.

“Another impressive offering then from Superbrass, and a worthy successor to their excellent debut disc”
