Description

PARP ! - a collection of thirty original compositions.

Set at a Junior Band level, PARP ! follows a flexi scoring formula of mixed brass players; requiring a minimum of 4 brass players - but the maximum number is endless.

The pieces are predominantly groove based and seek to take participants through a wide range of styles and musical identities.

In the instance of using just four brass players, playing just the top part in each case will provide a cohesive performance.

The Perils of Cheese - We are often advised not to eat cheese before bedtime because it gives you bad dreams.

Well, the composer and subsequent performers of this piece, did not heed this advice; things certainly do go bump in the night.

“Exploding onto the brass music scene with their debut album ‘Under the Spell of Spain’, the depth of versatility and virtuosity within the ranks of Superbrass has firmly secured it's place as one of the greatest large brass ensembles of all time”

Tom Davoren
