Description

Lew Pollack was born in New York City, among his best-known songs are Charmaine and Diane. That's a Plenty is a 1914 ragtime piano composition by Pollack. Lyrics were added decades later and a number of popular vocal versions have been recorded, but it is more often performed as an instrumental. The composition started out as a rag but is nowadays more often than not played as part of the Dixieland jazz repertoire. The song has been recorded by numerous artists and is considered a jazz standard.

"WOW !!!!! all of you should be locked up !!!! What great stuff - the compositions/arrangements, the playing (OUTRAGEOUS !!! ), everything is simply fantastic. (actually - i couldn't have expected anything less ! ) Many, many thanks to you and all for your superb contributions. yet again, you've managed to raise the bar! (an inch or two is ok but a few yards is really unfair !!!!!!!!!! )"
